Jenner & Block adopted Fairfield Academy, an elementary school on Chicago's South Side, and has assisted the school by purchasing classroom computers, working with students on science fairs, and by sponsoring a year-end holiday celebration.

Jenner has also been actively involved with the students of the Young Women's Leadership Charter School since its inception. The public school was founded by retired Jenner & Block Partner Joan Hall and is designed to provide Chicago girls a rigorous college preparatory education focusing on math, science, technology and the development of leadership skills. Jenner & Block attorneys serve on the school's board and as mentors to its students.
For these and other efforts, Jenner & Block received the Tutor/Mentor Program of the Year Award from theLend-A-Hand in June of 2004.
